sliced pepperoni 1/2 cup
pizza sauce 1/4 cup
mozzarella cheese 4 slices
Italian buns, split and toasted 4
olive oil 1 tbsp
butter 1 tbsp
thinly sliced mushrooms 2 cups
salt and pepper pinch each


  1. Flat Grill: Preheat grill to 350°F and heat burgers for 8 to 15 minutes from frozen state, turning frequently to avoid excessive browning.
  2. Cook pepperoni alongside burger for about 2 minutes or until crispy around edges. Spread burgers with sauce and sprinkle with cheese during last 2 minutes of cooking time; cook until sauce is heated through and cheese is melted.
  3. Sautéed mushrooms: Heat oil and butter in skillet set over medium heat; sauté mushrooms for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  4. Place burgers on bottom halves of buns; arrange pepperoni and mushrooms on top. Cap with tops of buns.
