Tex-Mex White Beans And Rice

Water 2 Quarts
Brown Rice, uncooked 1 Quart
Low Sodium Salsa 1 Quart
Low Sodium White Beans, Drained 1 #10 Can
Dried Oregano 1 Teaspoon

Method

  1. Make the Tex-Mex White Beans and Rice. Keep warm for service.
    1. In a deep steam table pan combine all of the ingredients. Stir to combine well. Steam for about 15 minutes. Stir and continue to cook for about an additional 10 minutes or until the rice is cooked.
  2. Heat the Honey BBQ Pork Rib
    1. Conventional Oven (Frozen Product): Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Heat for 20-25 minutes. Convection Oven (Frozen Product): Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake on a pan for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Place ½ cup of the Tex-Mex White Beans and Rice on the serving piece. Place 1 Honey BBQ Pork Rib on top, and serve with a Whole Wheat Bread Stick.
